Information we are Required to Disclose to You

As a registered Tax Agent, our services are provided in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009. In line with the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024, we are required to make the following disclosures to you:

  • Matters that could significantly influence your decision to engage us (or continue to engage us) for a Tax Agent Service from 1st July 2022 onward include the following: None Applicable
  • The Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) maintains a public register of registered Tax Agents and BAS Agents. You can access this register here: https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register
  • If you have a concern regarding our tax agent services, please contact your accountant in the first instance by email with the relevant details. If the matter is not resolved within three business days, you may escalate the issue by contacting one of our managing directors — Trevor Basso, Greg Basso, or Angelique Sanso — via email. Where possible, your complaint will be reviewed by a director who is not directly involved in the matter. You will receive written acknowledgment of your complaint, including our understanding of the issue and an outline of the resolution process. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may lodge a complaint with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) via their public register and complaints portal using the same link above. The TPB will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and conduct a review. If you remain dissatisfied with how the TPB has handled your complaint, the same portal provides information about your rights to request a further review. Should you remain dissatisfied with how your complaint has been handled, the TPB portal also provides information about your rights to request a further review and who can assist you in that process.
